Fundraising Challenge Sees NIS Raise £1,580 for Local Youth Charity

Over the past couple of months, we have been taking part in the Inspire Youth Zone Corporate Challenge — and we are proud to have raised £1,580 for this vital local charity!

Thanks to a fantastic team effort, we delivered a range of creative and fun fundraising initiatives, including:

  • Hampers curated by departments across NIS
  • A star prize draw featuring a 50-inch Samsung TV and a Ninja air fryer
  • A cake sale, plus a combined bake and book sale
  • An annual leave raffle
  • Handcrafted metal roses fabricated by our apprentices

A big thank you to the local businesses and colleagues who supported us with fantastic prize donations, including Macdonald Kilhey Court (Wigan), Mercer’s Traditional Meats (Bamber Bridge), The Cherry Tree at Blackrod, Bloom4Seasons (Wigan) and NIS’s Thomas Bennett for contributing a flying experience.

Collectively, the challenge raised an amazing £12,452.84 — a result that reflects the passion and generosity of all involved.
