NIS Apprentices Rise to the Challenge for Inspire Youth Zone

Following last week’s launch event, our apprentices are excited to take on this year’s Inspire Youth Zone Corporate Challenge.

Supported by a number of local businesses, the challenge brings the charity’s Community Partners and Patrons together to see who can raise the most money and be crowned the 2026 Corporate Challenge winners.

Each team has received a £50 stake and has eight weeks to grow it as far as their ideas and teamwork can take them. Our apprentices have already put forward a strong mix of fundraising activities, including a lunchtime BBQ, fabricated metal roses, a bake sale and a dress‑down day, among other ideas.

As a proud Patron of Inspire Youth Zone, we see this challenge as a meaningful opportunity to support a vital local charity while encouraging creativity, collaboration and community spirit.
