Quarterly Project Meeting Emphasises Importance of Communication and Collaboration

Yesterday, we held our eighth quarterly stand-down meeting for a key defence project, bringing together every discipline from across the wider project team.

During the event, we welcomed new starters, shared progress and learning, and encouraged an open forum to celebrate successes and discuss opportunities for improvement. Using an interactive digital platform, attendees also had the opportunity to provide feedback and ask questions to the project and wider NIS leadership teams in real time, which created a more engaging and collaborative environment.

Speaking after the event, Project Portfolio Lead Tom Commins commented:

“Like everything we do at NIS, communication and collaboration are key themes on this project. As well as holding regular project meetings and maintaining key communications channels, these events are an important way to celebrate the excellent progress we have made over the last quarter and make sure everyone is aligned going forward. The valuable feedback we have received will be analysed and implemented in line with our continuous improvement philosophy on this project and across NIS.”
