NIS Receives ‘Partner Award’ at Runshaw Adult and Apprenticeship 2025 Awards

We are proud to announce that NIS has been honoured with the inaugural Partner Award at the 2025 Runshaw Adult and Apprenticeship Awards.

The awards ceremony took place on Wednesday, 2nd July, where Emma Byers, People Development Advisor and Karon Docherty, HR Manager, represented NIS at the event. This prestigious award recognises organisations ‘unusually proactive’ within the adult and apprenticeship training programmes. Nominations were submitted by teachers, trainers, and staff involved in the programmes, acknowledging partners who have gone above and beyond in their engagement and support.

At NIS, we are deeply committed to developing talent through our apprenticeship programme. With apprentices ranging from Level 3 to Level 6, we view apprenticeships as a vital way to invest in our future workforce while providing individuals with the opportunity to gain valuable skills and practical experience.

Tim Cahill, Director of School, Employer & Community Relationships and Emma Byers, People Development Advisor
