NIS were pleased to welcome The Mayor of Chorley Councillor Mark Perks to our facility on Tuesday 13th March 2018.
After recently meeting at a local high school STEM event Councillor Perks was invited to tour our Chorley facility and meet some of our Apprentices. We are very proud to currently have 11 Apprentices in a variety of roles including Project Controls, Mechanical Design, Welding, Administration and Fabrication.
Managing Director Gill Marsden was delighted to tell Councillor Perks about a number of projects NIS is working on including:
- Manufacturing equipment to assist with the Fukushima disaster recovery
 - Supporting UK Defence companies working on projects to protect our nation
 - Collaborating on decommissioning frameworks
 - Working with our clients to providing security detection products across the globe
