We are now seeking an experienced Senior EC&I Engineer to play a key role in the development, verification, and substantiation of engineering design solutions across a diverse portfolio of projects.
In this role, you will produce and check engineering documentation, 3D models, drawings, calculations, and technical files, ensuring designs meet all applicable legislation, standards, and quality expectations. You will work collaboratively across disciplines, support project delivery, and contribute to continuous improvement and engineering best practice.
Below is an outline of duties and responsibilities:
- Deliver engineering activities to agreed scope, cost and schedule, providing early visibility of variances and supporting accurate forecasting.
- Produce and check engineering deliverables including drawings, models, design risk assessments, calculations and lifecycle documentation to substantiate design intent.
- Apply relevant safety legislation and ensure design solutions comply with UKCA/CE Marking, Machinery Directive, LOLER, PUWER and CDM requirements.
- Undertake verification and validation activities, support conformity assessments and participate in design reviews to ensure robust, compliant outputs.
- Provide engineering support through procurement, manufacture, assembly, testing, installation and commissioning, resolving technical issues as they arise.
- Ensure quality and compliance by reviewing engineering outputs for accuracy and adherence to standards, processes and procedures.
