Using the latest CAE Tools (including AUTOCAD, 3D Inventor and 3D solid Works), our dedicated Engineering team ensure a pragmatic and cost-effective solution to meet the need of all our customers.
We are now looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our engineering teams and support the successful delivery of complex engineering projects.
In this role you will oversee the engineering content of projects from bid through to execution and close out, ensuring safe, compliant, high-quality delivery while achieving programme, cost, and performance objectives.
Below is an outline of duties and responsibilities:
- Develop engineering delivery strategies, scopes of work, schedules, and resource plans to meet project and client requirements.
- Provide technical direction and guidance throughout engineering activities, ensuring robust and compliant design solutions.
- Ensure engineering documentation, drawings, calculations, and technical files are produced to the required standards and legislation.
- Oversee engineering assurance, verification, and validation activities to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and internal procedures.
- Maintain strong working knowledge of relevant legislation and standards including UKCA / CE Marking, Machinery Directive, LOLER, PUWER, and CDM.
- Work closely with Project Managers to monitor project performance, manage risks, control change, and implement recovery strategies where required.
- Facilitate collaboration between engineering disciplines, internal departments, clients, and supply chain partners to ensure fully integrated project delivery.
- Lead, coach, and mentor engineering personnel to support professional development, competency growth, and high performance.
- Support resource planning activities, ensuring projects are appropriately staffed with suitably qualified and experienced personnel.
- Strategically manage engineering resources, budgets, and priorities to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution.
