Project Delivery Engineer

At NIS, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, reliable projects that meet the needs of our clients. As we continue to expand our portfolio, we are looking for a dedicated Project Delivery Engineer with a strong Manufacturing Engineering background to join our team.

The Project Delivery Engineer will play an essential role in the successful delivery of projects, through the business life cycle. Working closely with the project management team and to ensure manufacturing engineering technical compliance, effective communication and seamless execution.

It’s a crucial role, supporting the technical, safe and efficient delivery of projects, ensuring we meet the highest standards of quality, cost, and schedule while maintaining a focus our customer, both internally and externally.

Below is an outline of duties and responsibilities: –

  • Competent in Manufacturing Engineer
    • Generate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and oversee production to meet specifications.
    • Resolve technical issues and ensure effective collaboration with subcontractors.
    • Interpret engineering drawings to ensure manufacturing aligns with NIS’ procedures.
    • Working with MRP / ERP systems.
  • Assist in delivering contracts in line with NIS’ Quality Management System and client specifications.
  • Support the safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery of projects, while identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Facilitate communication across the project team and manage resource constraints.
  • Interpret engineering drawings to ensure manufacturing aligns with NIS’ procedures.
  • Collaborate with design, project management, and quality assurance teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
  • Monitor project quality, manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and promote Lessons from Experience (LFE).
  • Manage project change control and mitigate risks and opportunities.
  • Produce accurate weekly progress reports and attend site meetings to provide updates.
