Manufacturing Manager

As our business continues to grow, so too does the demand on our manufacturing operations. NIS are therefore looking for an experienced and dynamic individual to lead our Manufacturing team and support the delivery of high-quality components.

The Manufacturing Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing day-to-day production activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement across all manufacturing processes. This position is critical to ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of components.

Below is an outline of duties and responsibilities: –

  • Oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory compliance
  • Effectively manage production activities to meet programme requirements, deadlines, and quality expectations
  • Work closely with the Production Supervision team to understand resource demands and optimise team structure against performance targets
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve operational efficiency
  • Apply Six Sigma tools and methodologies to enhance process capability and reduce variability
  • Lead, coach, and mentor Production staff to support development and drive operational excellence
  • Implement and maintain Health & Safety standards across the shop floor

Strategically manage resources, including people, budget, and equipment, to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery
