We are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Quality Engineer, who will provide support to the business and our projects by managing the quality requirements of subcontract supplied packages of work. Working closely with Portfolio Project Managers, Procurement, Supply Chain and customers, to ensure the agreed delivery strategy (time, quality and cost) is maintained right first time.
Below is an outline of duties and responsibilities:
- Carry out project quality control and assurance activities in accordance with client contract requirements and disseminate to project and supply chain stakeholders.
- Prepare and review quality related information including reports, specifications, customer reviews and workshops.
- Review and conduct risk and opportunity assessment in accordance with project specific quality requirements.
- Represent the Quality department at internal and external project meetings/reviews.
- Management of customer concerns and complaints and ensuring the completion of improvement opportunities.
- Assistance in generating TQs, PPs, Cons, NCRs and completing root cause analysis and implementation of preventative and corrective actions.
- Management of Technical File (Life-Time Records).
- Management of 3rd party inspections.
- Supporting physical inspection/report reviews.
- Opening up meetings with Supply Chain.
- Supporting material certification & traceability reviews.
- Progress review & reports.
- Report delays to activities – Support Project Delivery Portfolio in the Roll Out of Sub Contract Specification Workbooks & ITPs to the Supply Chain.
- Support Project Delivery Portfolio’s where appropriate, to ensure where remedial action is required by suppliers, that it is achieved in a timely manner in line with the Project Requirements.
- Support Facilitating the acceptance of works, both internally and externally.
- Ensuring HOLD/witness points are adhered to within the duration of works.
- Effectively communicating change whilst ensuring the work scope does not change prior to commercial arrangements been made.
