NIS are celebrating National Apprenticeship Week

We are proud to have such a variety of apprentices as part of our workforce, ranging from Level 3 through to Level 6, apprenticeships offer a way for us to develop individuals ready for the future of the business while offering young people an opportunity to learn whilst gaining practical experience.

Steve Rothwell, Managing Director “In our ever-evolving business landscape and working within an industry where there is a skills gap the value of nurturing and developing young talent cannot be overstated.

By embracing apprenticeships, we are investing in the future—both for our company and the wider industry. Apprenticeships provide an opportunity to provide hands-on experience and formal education, equipping our young people with the skills and knowledge they need to become excellent people.

Our apprentices bring a fresh approach with innovative ideas, and an enthusiasm that can only continue to build our company culture of excellence and drive our pathway of continuous improvement.

By mentoring and supporting our young people, we fulfil a responsibility to develop the next generation of professionals, helping to provide them with a purpose and direction that will ensure the ongoing sustainability of not only our business but industry in general.  It must be recognised that whilst investing in apprenticeships fills current skills gaps it’s also about building a brighter future that is delivered by excellent people.”

We continue to expand our apprenticeship opportunities, as we look to recruiting more for this year.

Some of our current and past Apprentices. L-R: Jack M, Keaton P, Aiden D, Ellis R, Harrison G, Alfie G, Cara M, Simon F, David M, Ian Hardman Commercial Director, Joshua C and Oliver W
