Receiving our SME of the Year award at Morgan Sindall Supply Chain awards

NIS are delighted to have received the Morgan Sindall SME of the Year awards at last nights ‘Working together with our supply chain’ event at the North Lakes Hotel in Penrith.

This award celebrates exemplary organisations that have 249 or fewer employees and with a turnover of less than £50 million.

As an outstanding SME, NIS displayed a number of exemplary organisational attributes including:

  • Growth by engaging with and developing best practice
  • Investment made in employees, through training, coaching and culture development
  • Action to improve their productivity and efficiency
  • Added value from their exceptional collaboration in projects

Upon receiving the award, NIS Project Portfolio Lead Jonny Molyneux said:

“To be recognised by our client for such a prestigious award reflects on the excellent people we have and our willingness to work so openly with our clients. Morgan Sindall and the wider PPP team have really engaged and supported our desire to work in a truly collaborative manner, as have our wider supply chain, ensuring we have all been able to deliver and exceed on our commitments”.

NIS Managing Director Steve Rothwell added:

“The “Team NIS” Culture is one that we have worked hard to create and embed, we know that others have similar technical capabilities, but we know it is our behaviours and culture that is the key to our success. Collaboration is inherent in the way that we work, “To be Excellent together” is our vision statement and it reflects our belief that we cannot succeed unless we nurture the right relationships with our clients, suppliers, partners, and internal teams.”

NIS are currently engaged on SRP (Sellafield (Product & Residue Store) Retreatment Plant) and RAP (Replacement Analytical Project) through PPP, as well as being one of their framework holders for their Manufactured Products, we look forward to building on these great foundations to successfully deliver for Morgan Sindall and PPP long into the future.
