Success for NIS

NIS is delighted to announce that we have now signed a contract with Morgan Sindall Infrastructure as part of Sellafield Ltd’s Programme and Project Partners to deliver Analytical Equipment Development for RAP (Replacement Analytical Project). The RAP is required to deliver circa 100 analytical instruments. These range from simple commercially available off the shelf (COTS) to complex equipment, of which NIS have been selected to deliver ‘Remote-operation based modifications’.

Replacement Analytical Project

We have been successfully delivering the design and manufacture of bespoke gloveboxes and high integrity containment systems to the Nuclear and Defence sectors for over 35 years and have the perfect set of capabilities to ensure the success of RAP.

Gill Marsden, Managing Director said “Securing the RAP contract was a key strategic target for the business, and I’m especially proud of the NIS team that worked so hard during difficult Lockdown conditions to pull such a high-quality tender submission together. We are delighted to be continuing our well-established relationship with Sellafield Ltd and we look forward to getting to know the PPP Team, as well as working alongside our expert industry friends from Aquila and Orano as the other framework holders.”
