Main Purpose of Position:-
Interpret breakdown and process engineering drawings and specifications to enable manufacture in accordance with NIS procedures.
Provide engineering support to engineering design, projects, purchasing, production and quality departments.
Specific Areas of Responsibility
- Understanding and interpretation of engineering drawings
- Generate Master Control Schedule/Bom for material procurement
- Identify optimum manufacturing methodology
- Extraction of all relevant information from client documentation, specifications, quality plans and ITP’s
- Produce detailed manufacturing route cards
- Identify in-house/sub contract activities
- Generate specifications for sub contract
- Generate supplementary manufacturing sketches
- Problem solving
- Oversee production/manufacturing activities and shop support
- Sub-contractor support/Technical liaison
- Technical liaison
